Hike: Follow the trail 0.2 miles into the woods, then join the Skyline Trail heading northeast.

Return: Retrace your steps back to Paradise Inn.

Stunning views, from the mountain to the waterfall, the flowers, the bridge. This is a great paved trail with some slight inclines but generally easy. The path to the falls is not long, there are some steep steps to get to the viewing point. My favorite part was the bridge that goes over the falls, that entire view from up above the falls was incredible and worth the walk even if you don't go down the steps to the falls.

Relatively easy paved trail from the visitors center. It can be a little steep in places but there are plenty of spots to sit and rest. To get down to the falls viewing platform there are steps and it is steep so if you have mobility issues you may not make it down there, but the trail is still very worth it. We had to circle the lot a few times to find someone leaving so we could snag a spot.

Awesome and easy to access waterfall near Sunrise (Mount Rainier). It’s pretty accessible elevation for people with kids and elderly adults. Multiple trails to continue the journey, and the National park is stunning in all seasons.

Myrtle Falls is a breathtaking spot located within Mount Rainier National Park. Truly unique to see water fall and a mountain like the way it's laid out here by nature. The cascading water, framed by the majestic peak of Mount Rainier in the background, is simply picture-perfect. The hike to the falls is relatively easy, making it accessible for all ages, and the trails are well-maintained. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a peaceful nature walk, this is a must-visit. The sound of the water, the fresh mountain air, and the stunning views make it a memorable experience.

Hiked this trail with my 4 year old. Only a mile round trip for some amazing views and picture opportunities. There are a few benches on the sides so you can take rest if you need to. The actual waterfall view point is a few steps down from the end. Don’t skip it.
